After experiencing a variety of summer internships, the learning opportunities I was able to be a part of at Moneta solidified my decision to start my career here. The learning opportunities I gained through Moneta’s internship program were invaluable and enhanced my understanding of the financial services industry. This provided a great foundation for real-world financial practices. During my internship, I had the privilege to familiarize myself with the various platforms and systems Moneta uses. I shadowed team members to see a realistic day as a CSM and provided project support, which gave me a better understanding of the operational side. This made my transition to a Client Service Manager much smoother and helped me become more confident in my role. Interning at Moneta was a wonderful start to my career. My team gave me the opportunity to input client data into a new financial planning software which fully exposed me to Moneta’s service model and how we operate. In addition, I prepared client presentation materials and even got to witness a few client meetings. I am especially grateful for the intern program’s heavy emphasis on education as the training and MonetaU classes provided me with a fabulous base of knowledge. This allowed me to gain the trust of my teammates right away and take on some very large projects in my first six months.
